1.   The Power of Personal Journaling – The session can be tailored for youth girls and women of all ages who have never kept journals and those who are beginners.  You will discover what journal writing is, and the importance of journal writing.  You will also be introduced to some biblical journalers, as well as early journalers.  Instructions will be given on how to keep and maintain your journals, and “hands-on” exercises in journal writing.

2.   From Journal Into Print – This workshop is Part 2 to the Journal Writing Workshop (see item 1). In this session, you will journey to another dimension.  Did you know that your journals are treasure troves for writing projects?  The entries you have penned in your journals may be valuable insights to encourage, edify, and comfort others.  You can communicate these valuable insights to others by pulling them from your journals, putting them in publishable forms, and marketing them to effect change in the lives of others.

3.  Creative Writing Workshops – “Writing as a Ministry” – This workshop is for those who feel that God has called you into a writing ministry. This session will provide some writers’ resources and helps for going forth in fulfilling your ministry.  It will also give you some writing tips and guidelines, and describe the three stages of writing.  You will also be instructed on where to get your ideas for writing. These ideas can be developed in the forms of poetry, greeting cards, bookmarks, devotionals, short stories, magazine articles and books.

4.   Releasing the Poet from Within – Do you love to read or write poetry? What do you do with your poems after you have written them?  Writing a poem is very personal. Writing a poem is like giving birth to a baby. The poetic images are conceived in the portals of the mind.  The beauty of its creation travels through the birth canal of your heart.  When delivery is imminent, the poet births the poem with tenacity through powerful strokes of the pen.  After this session, you will have written a poem with suggested markets for publication or you can even self-publish your own poetry.

Note: All of the above topics can be developed into one or more sessions in lengths of 45 minutes to one hour.  The presentations are designed for Youth, Christian women and men of all ages as indicated. These factors depend solely upon the needs of your group(s).
